... hair does feel pretty good these days. The other good thing about this shampoo is the price! You can pay a fortune for some shampoos, so when you find a good one that does not cost the earth it really is a bonus! It's only £1.29 for a 300 ml bottle which is very good value. Also there are often offers on with Boots own products and at the moment you can get two for £2 which is even better! Overall, I really do recommend this shampoo!...more

When it comes to my hair I'm quite lucky really, in that it doesn't have any specific needs that mean I have to use a particular type of shampoo, so I can use pretty much anything. The last one I bought was this one by Boots which only costs £1.29 for a 300ml bottle, which is a bargain compared to most shampoos that are about these days. This shampoo has natural extracts of sea kelp and water mint, and is specially formulated to restore the hair's natural balance, effectively cleansing away build-up at the roots whilst leaving ends feeling conditioned and moisturised. It comes in a clear plastic bottle, meaning you can see the light blue liquid ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sea Kelp and Water Mint shampoo ..Very Average!! (160 words)

I purchased this product as part of a 2 for 1 offer. I am always sceptical about cheaper brand shampoos but thought I would give this one a go! It has a pretty runny consistency but has a pleasant fragrance. It works up into a really good lather and washes out pretty easily. It left my scalp feeling tingly and warm . However, it did not leave my hair squeaky clean and it took a long time to dry due to the sticky residue left on the roots. The next day it also made my scalp a little itchy. It also left my hair very dry and static at the ends and pretty dull and lack lustre. A conditioner is definitely required with this product! Overall, it is great for everyday use but ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Boots Sea Kelp and Water Mint Shampoo: Endlessly seeking the sea... (576 words)

As a fan of real "wake-me-up" showers in the morning I have a strong preference for citrus and minty products first thing in the day. I find that the aromas cut through that sleepy feeling and leave me ready to go. So, it was with anticipation that I purchased Boots Sea Kelp and Water Mint shampoo having found a voucher in the Boots Advantage Card machine that effectively made it 25p. I'm not, as a rule, a fan of Boots products and find them inferior to many other own brands and vastly inferior to name brand products (even some of the cheapest!). However, the lure of a bottle of minty shampoo for less than the cost of a newspaper was enough to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review No more 'bad hair' days! (618 words)

I seem to have a real mix of problem hair - it's very fine, I have it coloured and also it's very greasy. Sadly, I am never going to find a shampoo that will claim it's suitable for all three, and as the worst problem is the grease I wanted to find something that would deal with that. When I went on Boots website though I found that there were very few shampoos which stated they were for greasy hair. None of the main brands that you can think of seemed to do so, but I did discover this Seakelp and Water Mint shampoo from Boots which is for normal to greasy hair and was at a very reasonable price. I thought I would give it a try and I am very glad I did ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Boots Sea Kelp and Water Mint Shampoo: Smells lovely and my hair was all fluffy! (577 words)

On my birthday last November I got my usual supply of smellies which included shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all from Boots and in the Sea Kelp and Watermint flavour, sorry fragrance! I have already written a review about the shower gel which I loved but I only got round to trying the shampoo and conditioner last weekend. What does it look like? This turquoise coloured shampoo comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a screw top which comes off completely and the very top of this flips open. The label on the front has the Boots logo in blue together with 'Sea Kelp and Water Mint shampoo for normal to greasy hair restores ...  Read the complete review
