I must have been a complete cow in a previous lifetime. God decided to bless me with hair that was both greasy and dandruff to boot. Talk about cruelty to animals! (I had been a cow after all!!!!) I tried every greasy hair shapoo on the market. It felt that way, anyway. If I was ever lucky enough to get some oil out of my hair, the dandruff just showed up more. I tried loads of anti-dandruff shampoos, and yes, you've guessed it. My hair would be snow less, but I looked like I'd taken a shower in my local chippie! Oh me, Oh my! Boots tea tree shampoo claims on the bottle to help improve the health of hair and scalp, as it contains extract of tea tree, well documented for its natural antiseptic properties. The shampoo and the conditioner come in clear plastic bottle and is a rather nauseating bright green colour. The smell of the shampoo and conditioner is a very pleasant fresh minty flavour, almost good enough to eat (although my 2 year old doesn’t recommend it!) You only require a small amount of the shampoo to get a really good lather going, I use about half a palm full for thick long hair. It takes quite a long time to rinse out ... For the last 9 months after having a baby my hair and scalp have suffered, mainly showing as terrible dandruff. I had tried just about every special shampoo going with no effect when my husband suggested tea tree. Not such a daft idea as it is known for its antiseptic and antibacterial effects I remembered whilst I was in Boots and bought a bottle of their own brand Shampoo with Tea Tree extract.
