“ Brand: Charles Worthington / Type: Hair Mask „
At least once a week I do like to really intensively condition my hair. Usually more but like I say once a week is the minimum! I saw this in Boots priced at £5.49 a go and although I'm not usually keen on Charles Worthington products I decided to give it a whirl for a change from my usual brand!
200ml lilac round plastic pot with a screw on/off lid to the top of it. In dark purple writing (all over the pot) on the front I'm told it's Charles Worthington London 'Results' Colour Bright Colour Intense Reviving Treatment for coloured or highlighted hair and that it contains Kerflex complex and the size is stated. On the back of the pot I'm told a bit about the product, directions for use are given, ingredients are listed as are contact details for Charles Worthington Ltd and finally there is a bar-code on there. Simple looking pot, large in size so you get alot of applications from it and it looks ok though maybe not very interesting!
A Bit About The Product According To The Pot....
Colour Care + Intense Condition + Vibrant Shine
Colour intense reviving treatments helps to:
Re-balance hair's moisture levels, targeted repair at dry areas.
Recondition hair for healthy-looking shine and intense, vibrant colour.
Lock-in colour to prevent fading and maintain that 'just coloured' look for longer.
Smooth away split ends, damage and dullness.
Directions For Use....
Use weekly or whenever hair needs a moisture boost. Shampoo and blot excess water, run treatment through hair with fingers or comb. Allow to act for three minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Me Using It....
Ok when you first unscrew the lid you are met by a stodgy looking slightly oily and gloopy looking white mixture that is rather glossy. I personally wash my hair, blot and squeeze out excess moisture and then comb through my hair before grabbing a dollop of this slightly floral smelling cream to my hair from the pot. The amount you use of course depends on the state your hair is in and the length and thickness etc but you can see how much you need as on contact with the hair the hair sort of drinks it in and then you can leave it or comb it through again. It's easy though to distribute through the hair though because of it's slight oil content and a smallish blob goes a long way.
I leave this on for the recommended 3 minutes or longer if desired as it doesn't do any harm but after the 3 minutes is up it doesn't tend to give better results by leaving it on so it's up to you!
It rinses out very easily indeed and the hair is very easy to comb through feeling immediately softer and smoother.
Style hair as normal and your left with very glossy, nourished and revitalised hair. I do dye mine quite regularly and the added shine this gives does give that just coloured feel. Hair is velvety soft, easy to style and I feel it easier to control. Split ends are blended into my finished style and frizz is really calmed down by this product too. The fragrance really lasts ages too and all round this is a really hydrating, deep conditioner I'm sure suitable for anyone to use as it's intelligent enough to treat where your hair needs treating and avoid areas that don't!
It's a really nice hair care treat that has immediate results so me, well I'll keep a pot in my bathroom for emergencies and a little of this really does go a very long way so economical this is! Great, simple product that really works on many levels!
