Advantages: Lovely packaging, Gave lots of volume, Made hair shiny and smooth
Disadvantages: Burned my hand!, Nasty musty smell, May be expensive full price?
Right then this is my first review so here goes!! I was in Boots one day randomly looking at products when i noticed some Charles Worthington products in a sale. I was dubious about buying sale items as i thought - well they cant be that good because they are in the sale but the shop assistant reassured me it was because of ordering too much stock. The mousse was £1.20, im not sure of the exact price before the reduction im guessing about £4.00? The packaging is what attracted me to the product its a gold sparkly can (anything which sparkles I?m drawn to!) it has an unusual nozzle for a mousse kind of like what you get on a mens shaving foam can (the type u keep upright). I found the packaging one of the main downfalls of the product, I?m not sure whether it was just my can but when I press the nozzle down it spurts out freezing cold gas which burns slightly before the mousse actually comes out. I?m hoping that the gas doesn?t run out before I finish the product inside! The product claims to: * Volumise, define curls and leave hair natural and extra shiny without flaking and build up. *Increase the natural moisturisers in hair by 45% and the heat-activated conditioners nourish your hair and enhance shine. After burning myself I was ready for disappointment - but the mousse itself is fantastic. It gave body and volume to my hair, It made it very very glossy and shiny and didn't make my hair feel hard or caked with product. I was very impressed - the second downfall of the product was the fragrance - its dreadful!!! It?s a very strong musty smell - I guess if u like musty smells the product is perfect for you but its just not my cup of tea! Overall I feel this product is really good it made my hair really bouncy and soft! The problems are the smell (which disappears after a while) and as for burning my hand I?m hoping that it?s just my can and its not a design fault.
