I have jet black hair which is shoulder length. I love my hair when it looks glossy, shiny and managable but more often than not it doesn't appear that way at all lol. Over the past few years therefore I have bought and tried out many different types of spray on shines for my hair and of course some have worked and some haven't lived up to my expectations at all.
Coming to Christmas I did purchase what I thought of as some essential items and this in Boots, from a well known brand I have heard of with a name like 'Front Row', in a nice bottle and only costing £4.08 seemed decent value and worth a punt to me! The usual price of this in Boots and all good chemists etc is about £6.12.
The bottle is made from aluminium and is black in colour and holds 150ml of the product. To the top of it there is simply a round push button you use to use it as an aeresol product on the hair. You can twist this button left and right which moves it so that it can and can't spray...handy for travel and the likes!
The label around the bottle is a pain though. I mean it looks pleasant enough and of course is as informative as it needs to be however one side of it isn't stuck down properly and sort of hangs off and isn't sticky really. This is like with all of these Charles Worthington products from this 'Front Row' collection and its simply looks a bit scruffy and pointless particulary as it is a long white section that sticks out like a sore thumb on an otherwise black simple looking bottle and says Creative Team, Charlesworthington London on it! It looks untidy and if you stick it down with a bit of glue yourself you would end up concealing the information on the back of the bottle and behind the label! Just a niggle....but it really does look untidy and then reading closely on the back of the bottle we are told that this section peels back to give information on how to use it. Unpeel it more than once it loses its stickiness and looks really unsightly then!
On the front of the bottle we are told that it is Mirror Dazzle Shine Spray and in green and white lettering we are told that it is Front Row of course. On the back of the bottle other information given includes being told a bit about the product, the ingredients are listed as is the size stated and contact details fot Charles Worthington LTD are given too. Peel back the label and under that the bottle is decorated in a green colour with what then appears to be a diamond on it and on the back of the laebl we are simply told how to use it. Nice enough can of product this is even though I do find the label a tad annoying lol.
All you do to use this is to spray on a small amount to where you want to add shine to and on a finished style, so this is the last product you should use on your hair. If you want a bit of protection to split ends you can spray this directly onto your hands and then add it to the ends of your hair to help seal them up a bit.
This sprays out rather wet but dries in seconds. If you spray it onto your hand you can see that it doesn't really dry as such and does have a slight oilness to it so if you have greasy hair or any greasy areas to the hair I'd avoid using this on it for that reason as it is very gently hydrating.
This has a rather strong floral scent to it that I really like. That fragrance stays on the hair for hours to so its rather important I think that it is as lovely as it is otherwise that would be annoying!
This rehydrates my hair beautifully, adds subtle but noticable shine and helps tame and keep back frizz. Add too much it makes hair greasy so a a quick spritz of this is all thats needed, really less is more making this rather economical too.
My dry and frizzy sections of hair really do benefit from this and I have never used any product such as this that has made my hair look so fabulousy shiny beofore and it stays like that till I wash it out!
Easy to use, moisturising and gives glossy hair and a great fresh girly smell I couldn't ask anymore and believe me I don't usually rate Charles Worthingtons products all that highly usually but this is now one of my must haves! Lovely stuff just use it sparingly!
