Advantages: smells beautiful, works effectively, nice colour
Disadvantages: want to eat it, my husband might nick it
Last Monday I was let out on the town. Debit and Credit card in hand, I set off to my nearest Boots store. In front of me was the No7 which shouted me over, I noticed a sign for loads of advantage points to be had when buying certain products. I spent £28 there and quickly received £12 cash back to spend on my advantage card. The assistant was so nice, she even got me vouchers from the machine to earn even more. She told me about the Organics and Charles Worthington promotion, where if you spent £10 or more you got 500 points, that's a £5 to you and me. So in a way it would only cost me £5 for £10 worth of products. Well with me not buying so many beauty products before (lol), I set off for the Charles Worthington range. I have bought some of these items before but was willing to try something different. This is when I noticed Sweet Dreams Heavenly Hairwash Outrageously Rich Shampoo. It is a lovely pale pink Marshmallow type colour. Looks good enough to eat I'd say. I can't remember the exact price, it was somewhere in the region of £1.89 to £2.20, who cares I got my 500 points. I bought four products from this range which went over £10. This little bottle holds 75ml of shampoo and 2.5 fl.oz. It will be another thing I can take on my holidays, it's made of plastic and the lid is very secure so it won't leak over my suitcase. I just had to test it out just before I go, that's to make sure I like it of course. It promises not to strip hair of natural oils and to leave it sparkling and strengthened by 25%. It says i'ts a mild shampoo but gives an effective wash. Directions for use Wet hair thoroughly, then apply shampoo to your palms of your hands, massage in and rinse. If you use loads of hair gel or other styling products like me , then I would repeat the procedure. I always wash my hair twice now, as some shampoos still leave a residue in your hair. The shampo
o comes out of the bottle easy enough, it isn't too thick or neither too runny. It smells quite perfumed, rather like a scent than a shampoo smell. It left my hair smelling great, I didn't need to apply an other perfume that day lol. I can't really explain the fragrance, it's rather sweet smelling, similar to Rive Gauche perfume. It's in fact gorgeous. The real ingredients are. Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Glycol Distearate, Betaine, Citric Acid, Glycine, Peanut Oil, Threonine, and Proline. I'm sure you have heard of them all!!! Well I have tested it now, and it really was a pleasant experience. I've even enough to take on holiday with me. You will find if you apply the shampoo to your hands and dilute it a bit with water before applying to your hair, then you don't need as much. It lathers just as good and gives a thorough clean. My hair felt lovely and soft afterwards, it's a bit early to say whether it has strenghtened it, if I keep using it then I will be able to tell. It certainly put a halo over my head.

- 25/02/02 Like the tip to make it stretch further, it's simple, but something I've never thought of.
I love trying different shampoos, this will be next on the list. |
