Great for whacking a bit of something in your dooo!

First things first, let me just clear up that I am not a man and don't really understand why this is a product that is directed at men alone. I'm not a feminist or anything, but I believe that it should just be unisex- after all, it would probably increase sales. ***Sorry for the rant, back to the product***

      ***Background info***

Charles Worthington is a British hair stylist who has taken the country by storm. He owns various salons and has an outstanding product line. He is hairdresser to the stars, including Joely Richardson and Claire Danes.

      ***What is it?***

Mud styler lets you mould and re-mould your style for a matt finish and lasting shape. That's what it says on the tin at least. The tin is silver and circular and contains 75ml of product. The 'mud styler' itself is a white cream.

      ***My opinion***

I think the only reason it is categorised as men's hair product is because of the smell. It has a manly aroma, like men's body spray- I absolutely love it though. And it's not like you walk around smelling strongly of it. It's got a nice clean smell to it.

The texture is not what I expected but I was grateful after using it. From the term 'mud styler' I was expecting something of a hard, clay-like texture but it was in fact the opposite. Only buy this hair product if you are looking for a creamy sort of texture.

It is only really ideal for short hair as it is not incredibly strong at holding. It gives short hair a nice roughed up, messy look.

The cost of this product is around £3. I think I got mine from a salon so I was charged more.

      ***Conclusion***

I would recommend this as a back-up product. The one that you use when you've misplaced your favourite expensive one, or left it at a friends. It does look okay but it's not great for moulding and re-moulding anything but very short hair.
