Advantages: Cheap, grease-free, easy to use
Disadvantages: You can't grow it on trees
At last! I've found something that tames my hair, but doesn't leave it covered in "stuff"! I bought this in a travel-sized bottle the other day, and I'm most impressed. It was £1.50, and I'm used to these posh hair things to be vastly over-priced, but I fancied trying something new, and it being a travel sized thingie, it wasn't too much to pay, I thought, just for a trial. I'm really glad I did, because it's great. You only use a little squirt on the palm of your hands, and run it through damp hair. You can use it to de-frizz dry hair too, although I find that it doesn't work as well. I tend to rub the stuff all over my hands so that it's easier to apply, and although it feels really greasy on your hands, it doesn't make your hair feel oily in the slightest. It's also amazing how little you need. I reckon that I'll use this little bottle about 100 times. Not bad value really. When you feel your hair, when it's wet, before you put this in, it tends to feel a little hard to brush through, even if it's conditioned. With a tiny bit of this stuff, it makes it silkier, and far far easier to manage when wet. When drying it, I tend to blow-dry, and tis serum is fantastic at making it again, easy to manage. Strangely, for having put a product on my hair, my hair actualy feels more soft, and manageable. Looks-wise, my hair is straight-is at the tops, and curly at the bottoms (that's how it goes!), and I find that without some definition, the curls at the bottom can look a bit frizzy. This serum seems to tame them so that they fall in natural curls, and it's certainly less frizzy all over. Definitely recommended, and strangely very good value!

- 17/09/01 Sounds good. Another tip for you is Philosophy serum which works like absolute magic - mind you, at £8 per little(ish) bottle it would have to be worth its money. Anyway - happy taming - seems like you've found a reasonably-priced little winner here - I'll take note so thanks! |
