Advantages: smells nice and it does clean your hair

Disadvantages: frizzy mess

A few years ago, I would have been happy to go out and but a bottle of herbal essences shampoo, before they changed it, but just recently I have tended to but pantene pro-v, as I personally felt that it gave better results. But a while back I decided to do a u-turn and go back to herbal essences, as it seemed that it made sense to but a 2 in 1 bottle as I wouldn't have had to spend so much money.

The scent of this shampoo is supposed to be berry, tea and orange flower, but to me it jusy semlls of apples, which is what the majority of leading shampoos do smell like. However it is a nice enough scent and does do it's job of cleaning your hair.

When I first tried this I did notice that it didn't really lather up as much as I thought it would, and soon discovered that you had to put a good amount of the shampoo into your hair to make it lather up. As it was a 2 in 1 bottle that claimed to be a shampoo and conditioner in one bottle, I obviously didn't bother buying any conditioner to go with it, now I wish I did, as now, every time I wash my hair I have to 'borrow' somebody elses conditioner, otherwise my hair looks and feels like a frizzy mess.

This shampoo claims to give you 'dazzling shine', this I can safely say definately is not the case on my own hair, however I have not yet met anyone else who has used, so I don't know if it just because of my won hair type, which is quite fine and a tiny bit wavey.

The bottle is quite attractive and it does draw you in amongst all the other shampoo bottles. Thr actual bottle is clear, see-through plastic, so you can easily see through it to see how much shampoo you have left. To got it out of the bottle, it uses a click lid, so you have to push one side of it down to make the other go up, which works quite well although after a few weeks you do have to hold it down so it stays open.

Overall I think that this shampoo does what shampoos are supposed to do and cleans your hair, but for people with hair like mine, I would definately not recommend it.

Summary: not what I was expecting...not recommended
