I have long hair that tends to get greasy quite quickly around the roots whilst being dry at the ends and so I'm always on the look out for a shampoo that balances the two. I've tried several balancing shampoos in the past but typically all those that seem to work for me seem to stop being produced after a while and so I'm now on yet another hunt for the perfect shampoo. At the moment I'm trying Herbal Essences Fresh Balance Icy Pineapple and Cotton Extracts shampoo. Clairol Herbal Essences has changed their bottles a little while back. I'm sure they still have the original ones, but these ones appeared in their sleek, slimline, bright packaging, and also they launched with a special price of £1 per bottle, so always worth a go. I have tried the Frizz Fighter one, and also this one, the Fresh Balance one. The bottles come in 200ml bottle and in my local Asda they normally cost £1.98. The bottles are all different bright colours, but this one is a light green colour and the lid is a kind of lime green. The plastic is clear, so you can see the gel through it. Herbal Essences have rebranded recently with 10 new collections based on different hair types. The names of the collections (which are fairly self-explanatory) are as follows: Ignite my Colour Breakage Defender Dazzling Shine Fresh Balance Frizz Fighter Hello Hydration It's A Curl Thing Seductively Straight Uplifting Volume No Flakin' Way (shampoo only) This information is from the website and I haven't seen the full range in my local Boots or supermarkets yet; most seem to have 4 or 5 collections.
