Clairol Herbal Essences has changed their bottles a little while back. I'm sure they still have the original ones, but these ones appeared in their sleek, slimline, bright packaging, and also they launched with a special price of £1 per bottle, so always worth a go. I have tried the Frizz Fighter one, and also this one, the Fresh Balance one.

The bottles come in 200ml bottle and in my local Asda they normally cost £1.98. The bottles are all different bright colours, but this one is a light green colour and the lid is a kind of lime green. The plastic is clear, so you can see the gel through it. There is a stick on label on the front and the back of the bottle, but it doesn't really stand out that well. Perhaps it is because of the colourings, as the label has whites and greens, so nothing perticularly bold on it.

This Shampoo is meant for Oily and Normal Hair. I have Oily hair and it needs washed every 2nd day otherwise it looks really lank and greasy. This Shampoo is Purifying and gently washes your hair without stripping all the Oil down and making it dry. It freshens as well. I find with my hair I am best to use a Gel Shampoo rather than a Cream, as I feel Cream Shampoos, although they moisturise well, I don't think they tackle the Oil as well, but since this one is a Gel, I think it works well.

The Gel is a light Green colour and on the back it says the scent is Icy Pineapple and Cotton extracts. The smell of this is lovely. You can smell the citrus scent of the Pineapple, and it smells fruity and tropical. Not sue about the Cotton part, but there is a slight musky smell, which is quite pleasant.

I would buy this again as it made my hair clean, fresh smelling and dealt with the horrid Oily bit at my roots. I would pay full price for it, but since Asda is pretty good with Shampoo offers, then I would stock up if it came on offer again.

Forgot about that part. Was looking at adding in a blurb about the herbal Essences adverts from the website, and changed my mind, so I forgot to delete to part I had typed. Thanks for that - it didn't make any sense did it? x
