I first noticed this due to the brightly coloured, easy-grip shape bottle, and I bought it purely because it was buy-one-get-one free at Superdrug. Picky aren't I? ** It was clear that I wasn't going to like this the first time I used it. When I poured some onto my palm it didn't pool like a cream conditioner does; it has the consistancy of a paste. I also don't like the strong mandarin perfume [I like the shampoo's, but this is more overpowering] or the peach colour - It looks overly artifical and instantly made me wonder about the coloring agents and other chemicals I was merrily rubbing through my hair (not usually something I really think ... I have just finished using a bottle of this conditioner and decided to write a review. If you are familiar with the Herbal Essences range then you will instantly recognise the slightly curved oblong shape of the bottles. The range includes lots of different variants, and this particular bottle, which is a bright red colour is designed to fight frizz and smooth the hair. There is of course a matching shampoo, and a bottle will set you back a few pounds - but look out for offers as you will ... Read the complete review

I always use conditioner on my hair, as it's extremely thick and does have a tendency to go slightly frizzy. I chose this conditioner as it claims it is fizz reducing and it just happened to match my orange bathroom. The best thing about herbal essences has got to be the smell, I haven't come across any type of herbal essences product that doesn't smell really beautiful and really fresh, and they always leave your hair smelling great. Especially if you blow dry after washing. This particular one, smells of orange with a hint of grapefruit in it, so it's a really fresh citrus smell. This conditioner is quite a thick liquid and slightly ... Read the complete review
