Advantages: Gives fantastic shine, moisturises hair and smells gorgeous!

Disadvantages: None!

I love Clairol Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Brilliant Shine Conditioner just as much as I love the shampoo (see separate review). I bought 2 400ml bottles for £3 in Asda, and they regularly have this deal on. I don't think anyone could argue with that as being fantastic value for money!

Of course, the price means nothing if the product is rubbish....well this one is far from it!

Imagine the fruitiest, citrussiest, juiciest fragrance ever and you may be getting the idea of how good this smells. It reminds me of a year-round tropical holiday and the dominant grapefruit notes are so refreshing. The scent is slightly more subtle than the shampoo (but I only noticed this when sniffing each bottle to compare and review, I don't think it is something you would normally notice!). It contains pink grapefruit, verbena and bergamot; a delicious blend of fruit and herb extracts.

It is recommended for use on normal hair and it claims to give brilliant shine and leave hair at its most beautiful.

The bottle is a really unusual and striking shade of shimmery pink - about halfway beween salmon and hot pink I'd say. It has the trademark Herbal Essences forest green flip up lid and the Fruit Fusions logo in the middle. Everything about the logo and the wording of the instructions makes it all the more appealing. Images of juicy citrus fruits drenched with water and words such as 'juicy', 'revitalised', 'infused' and 'refreshing' all conjour up mental images of something which will drench your hair in moisture and shine.

And it is not just clever marketing....it actually works!

It says it will 'enrich hair's radiance and vitality'.
My hair certainly looked bouncy, alive and radiant after use.

It will also 'help replenish natural moisture and enhance manageability'.
Another tick from me - hair felt softer and was easier to style.

Finally, it claims to 'leave hair silky and richly moisturised'.
And yes, you've guessed it, it did that too.

My hair was not only smoother, sleeker, shinier and easier to manage after using this conditioner, but it also smelled amazing too.

I have always found in the past that shampoos and conditoners that really dazzle you with their smell tend to be a let-down on the performance side, but Clairol have really bridged the gap and managed to do both.

Summary: Brilliant Shine - Brilliant Product!
