Advantages: It really works, smells delicious

Disadvantages: The packaging, not easy to find a stockist

Description

This is a regulating shampoo from Clairol Herbal Essences, designed to rectify the problem of greasy roots and dry ends. It contains cornflower, aloe vera and cherry bark extracts, and is supposed to gently purify greasy roots by removing excess oils and build-up, whilst nourishing dry ends and enhancing body and lift.

Pros

- It's relatively cheap at around £3 for a 400ml bottle, or £2 for a 200ml bottle.
- It smells amazing. Flowery but not in a girly way, it's more of a crisp, fresh, outdoors kind of scent, but it really is beautiful. And the scent gets stronger as you lather it up and then stays in your hair for ages after using it.
- It lathers up brilliantly giving a really thick and luxurious mass of bubbles. You don't need to use a lot of the shampoo as it lathers up so well.
- It cleans the hair really well and both my hair and scalp feel really refreshed after using it.
- It rinses out easily.
- It really does what it claims it will do. My hair after using this is fresh and light even at the roots where it normally can feel a little oily. It feels really bouncy and full of life, and looks shiny, smooth and healthy.

Cons

- The packaging is not great. The lid breaks easily and also can be quite fiddly to open.
- It's not easy to find in the shops. Many of the major places like Boots and Superdrug don't seem to stock this variant even though they do have all the other Herbal Essences shampoos. I eventually found mine in Tesco of all places!

Summary

A brilliant shampoo which leaves hair clean, fresh, bouncy and healthy, and for a very reasonable price too!

Summary: A great shampoo if you want hair that is fresh and full of life
