Im normally not a big fan of herbal essences, but I needed some conditioner, I didnt have a lot to spend and the massive bottle was half price in boots so I decided to take a chance.

In the past i've only ever found herbal essences hair products to be good for the way they leave your hair smelling all fruity for the rest of the day. However I was suprised by how good this conditioner actually is.

It comes in a tall bright blue bottle with the usual floral/fruit design on the front representing the fragrance within, this particular one is coconutty and tropical smelling. The conditioner itself is bright pale blue in colour, and very thick. Its easy to work into the hair however and quite easy to rinse out.

It leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft once its dry, and it doesnt feel heavy or greasy like some conditioners do. The 'beautiful ends' range of herbal essence conditioner leaves my hair greasy and flat no matter how much I rinse it, with this one however it is not the case.

My hair is left smelling wonderful and coconutty for hours after use, which is the one thing I love about Herbal Essense hair products. Every so often I get a whiff of tropical goodness and I get people commenting on the scent even when they are just stood/sat next to me, which is great. The fact that you can smell it even after drying and using straighteners on my hair is fantastic, no other conditioners or shampoos seem to do this.

Overall I would definitely recommend this conditioner, even if, like me, you are not a big fan of Herbal Essenses. It leaves your hair soft and shiny, and definitely hydrates it when it is feeling a bit dry and neglected. At the minute the big bottles are half price in Boots at £1.75 which is an absolute bargain for such a big bottle! You can find the smaller bottles however in most pound shops so if you cant find it on offer i'd say go get it from there!
