Advantages: Quick and easy to use and smells fab

Disadvantages: Leaves a greasy residue

I always chop and change what shampoos i'm using especially as i sometimes have synthetic fibre extensions put in and there's no point in using expensive brands on them. I also colour my hair regularly and get quite dry brittle ends so i am always on the look out for something with hydrating and moisturising ingredients. I tried the herbal essences hello hydration moisture and shine shampoo when they were on offer in Tesco where i do my usual weekly shop. There is a motto on the container (mine was 400mls) saying 'Get drenched, quenched and revive that shine!' It says 'Luscious shine starts ith deep hydration, so take a deep dive in to high shine. Replenish your pretty parche dhead with my rich formula with orchid and coconut extracts.' I quite like the way they have marketed this with the shampoo 'talking to you'. They also have a bit called Herbal Head Games which is basically trivia with the question being on the shampoo bottle and the answer being on the conditioner bottle and vice versa. I guess this is in the hope you will buy both! I have always loved herbal essences mainly because of the smell and this one is no exception - you feel like you're in a tropical paradise! It says to lather, rinse and repeat as do most shampoo brands although to be honest i usually just do one shampoo. I agree with other reviewers that even after prolonged washing out of this product my hair can look a little greasy where my crown is. Other than that my hair does feel nourished and smells great all day!
