Advantages: smells nice

I saw this in ASDA when it first came out and decided to try it for £3.26 for 400ml. I often try different shampoos when they come out, and after seeing this on the tele and in magazines a lot, I decided it looked well worth a try.

I love the design of the bottle, and if you get the conditioner as well, which I did, they fit together. The shampoo itself is blue which makes it different from the usual pale pink or cream ones. You just press the lid to open it and the shampoo easily squirts out. It smells like coconut and orchid which is lovely. I did really like the smell of it and hoped that my hair would smell like that.

I soaked my hair in the shower before applying a handful of this on my hair. I rubbed it in vigorously from root to tip before washing it all off and repeating. A hairdresser once told me that if you want nicer hair, to shampoo it twice. I then did the same with the conditioner.

When drying my hair, it brushed as easily as it normally would. After I had dried it, my hair didn't seem to be as soft as it usually was and seemed to have a bit of a greasy look and feel to it. I wasn't pleased, but it didn't look terrible, just not as I like it. I did continue to use the shampoo but my hair continued to look a bit greasy and dirty which I was suprised at because it isn't a cheap or basic shampoo. My hair did smell nice after using it, but thats the only positive thing it did to my hair. My daughter did use it as well and didn't like it, saying the same as I had. I ended up throwing it away after it had been used a few times.

I was really suprised about the shampoo because it is so publicised and I've seen loads of adverts for it. I think that clairol really need to re-think their shampoo ingredients and what they do for your hair.

Overall, I wouldn't use it again. I didn't like the way my hair felt or looked after use and won't buy it again. After a bad experience with it, I wouldn't recommend it to you.

Summary: I dont like it, not worth the money.
