Advantages: smells divine, nice packaging

Disadvantages: made my hair brittle and dry

I have normal hair but find certain brands of shampoo attack it and make it dry. This is one and it's the worst for it.
I can feel the difference after the first wash, but it gets progressively worse over time.
Basically my mane of hair goes from soft and shiny to straw and brittle.
It's a real shame because I soooooo like how it smells.
As to the organic part of it, I really don't think sourcing the ingredients from organic makes ANY difference to its quality or how good it is for your hair - after all most of the ingredients still read like a chemistry exam paper. The 'organic experience' is just marketing to up the price and to make really bad ads (organic-orgasmic yes we get it, can we move on now?)

Summary: smells divine, but made my hair dry and brittle

I know what you mean - I find a couple of the Herbal Essences shampoos will leave my hair feeling quite brittle if I use it too often. But it's quite good once in a while - I always feel it gets rid of some of the build up from other shampoos.

Have you checked what the ingredients are? surfectants can have a very drying effect I'm told. try Lush shampoos. Ther's all the smell but much less souap and additives. Cheers, PIppa x
