Herbal Essences, Clairol's wildly advertised range of shampoos and conditioners, uses its natural ingredients as its main selling point, as well as those ecstatic moaning women who fill our screens in the ad breaks. Seduced by their promises of an organic experience, I threw a bottle into my basket, and voila: this review explicitly chronicles my experiences with their replenishing conditioner including: Appearance My Hair – Why this product? Use – Washing Your Hair Effects – Drying Your Hair How long does a bottle last? Pricing Summary Having cleared the house of all nefarious characters – that's everyone I ... Read the complete review

I can't believe that I haven't written about this conditioner or shampoo before now and I have been on here nearly two years and I haven't written about my favourite Brand of shampoo and Conditioner. First let me tell you what the bottle looks like and says on it, well it is opaque and very pale pink with a dark forest green top that is easy to open and has only come off once in the many years I have been using this product. On the front of the bottle it states "Clairol Herbal Essences with Botanical shine complex" and "protects coloured/Permed/Dry/Damaged hair" also "with thyme, wheat germ oil and vitamin E in mountain ... Yes, I admit it! I'm a serial hair abuser. My hair is coloured. I use a hairdryer all the time. I'm just too impatient to wait for it to dry on it's own. On top of that, I have fine hair, so I'm expecting a lot from a conditioner. For years I've used Body Shop Banana conditioner and been happy with the results. I have rather dry, sensitive skin, so I've always had to be careful what products I use. I wasn't looking to change conditioners, but, in simple terms, I ran out of Body Shop brand and wasn't going shopping again for at least a week. Too long to survive without washing my hair, so I went to the local convenience store. ... Read the complete review

Clairol’s Herbal Essences Protection Conditioner for coloured/permed/dry/damaged hair contains natural organic thyme, wheat germ oil, and vitamin E in mountain spring water. It comes in a pink plastic bottle, which has a green fliptop lid for easy use, and contains 250ml of the product. The Product ------------ This conditioner has a rich thick creamy consistency with a pleasant aroma, which reminds me of the fragrance of wild strawberries. The end result of using this conditioner are extremely good – it leaves my hair soft, silky, very shiny and healthy looking, especially as I often colour my hair so it needs just that little bit extra ... This conditioner when used in conjunction with Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo is the best and most effective conditioner I have come across yet, and for the time being, I'm definitely sticking with them! They both come in the pink bottles of this range, and together they transform the state of truly dry/damaged hair. I always use shampoos together with their conditioner for optimum results, and it does work. If you use these separately, you'll lower the potential for effects. As I mentioned in my opinion on Essences Replenisher Shampoo, my hair is peroxide-damaged and I put it through a lot of stress each week with styling ... Read the complete review
