Advantages: A little goes a long way!
Disadvantages: None
This conditioner when used in conjunction with Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo is the best and most effective conditioner I have come across yet, and for the time being, I'm definitely sticking with them! They both come in the pink bottles of this range, and together they transform the state of truly dry/damaged hair. I always use shampoos together with their conditioner for optimum results, and it does work. If you use these separately, you'll lower the potential for effects. As I mentioned in my opinion on Essences Replenisher Shampoo, my hair is peroxide-damaged and I put it through a lot of stress each week with styling products and heated tongs which makes it worse. My hair type is fine anyway, so knots are usually on the menu when I dry my hair. Along with the general dryness and damage, this is a lethal combination with which I was used to dealing. Detangling took painstaking time, and if I damaged hair by pulling it too much, it then went frizzy. On the verge of having my long locks cut, I discovered this remedy perfectly suited to my hair type. It has transformed my hair into sleek and shiny hair in incredibly good condition for the damage it goes through. As you apply this conditioner, you can actually feel it working. When rinsing, you just know that you will not have a problem with knots or detangling. After application, you can feel, whether the hair is wet or dry, that it is in a much better condition than before, after one use. The benefits of long-term use mount up as you use it and I know longer need to cut my hair, as it looks fantastic again. I wouldn't necessarily call any product a "miracle cure", but this is the nearest thing to it. You don't have to use a lot either to achieve results. Many conditioners are sucked into your hair and you have to apply at least three lots to cover long hair, but a small squirt in the palm of the hand is more than enough to do t
he job. Protecting conditioner smells good, you can feel it has worked from the minute you rinse your hair, and when used with the appropriate shampoo, works wonders on even the worst peroxide-damaged, dry and stressed hair from the very first application. Give it a try!
