Advantages: Gives soft, silky, shiny, healthy hair
Disadvantages: None
Clairol’s Herbal Essences Protection Conditioner for coloured/permed/dry/damaged hair contains natural organic thyme, wheat germ oil, and vitamin E in mountain spring water. It comes in a pink plastic bottle, which has a green fliptop lid for easy use, and contains 250ml of the product. The Product ------------ This conditioner has a rich thick creamy consistency with a pleasant aroma, which reminds me of the fragrance of wild strawberries. The end result of using this conditioner are extremely good – it leaves my hair soft, silky, very shiny and healthy looking, especially as I often colour my hair so it needs just that little bit extra moisturising –Clairol’s Herbal Essence conditioner lives up to its claims and I highly recommend it to those readers who may suffer with dry hair obtained from perming or colouring. Directions for Use ----------------- Clairol recommends that after washing the hair with Herbal Essence shampoo, the protection condition be applied to wet hair. This should be massaged into the hair and left on as desired. After the desired time, rinse hair thoroughly. Environmentally Friendly! ----------------------- For those readers who are interesting in environmental issues, it is interesting to note that the bottles supplied by Clairol use twenty-five percent post-consumer recycled plastic and are therefore recyclable when finished with. Organic Formulation ------------------- Clairol also states that their Herbal Essence range of products are made from high quality ingredients which are derived from pure renewable plant sources and contain no animal by-products. They are also formulated from biodegradable sources and the herbs used are all grown under certified organic conditions where petrochemicals and pesticides are not used. Contact Details -------------- Herbal Essences are made by Bristol-Myers Co. Limited,
in Uxbridge, Middlesex. The Herbal Essences URL is http://www.herbalessences.com. Here you can get a free “Virtual Consultation” for both hair care and skin care. Where You Can Buy It --------------------- The Herbal Essences range of conditions and shampoos are readily available in the major supermarkets where it is often on a “buy one get one free” offer, or from stores such as Boots the Chemists – www.wellbeing.com for £2.19 per 250ml bottle or £3.49 for a 400ml bottle. I would highly recommend this conditioner as it is inexpensive but leaves my hair with a shine equivalent to that of more expensive products I have used in the past.
