      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A good perfume for the hair.

      What is it?
      ********
A bottle of hair conditioner by Herbal Essences.

      Special Features?
      **************
A conditioner that has been infused with Passion Flower, Patchouli and Vetiver extracts.

The conditioner has been formulated for normal hair, claims to enhance the hair's silkiness and vitality, enrich with moisture and enhance manageability. The conditioner also claims to leave the hair luminous and dazzling with shine.

What do I think of it?
      ****************
On first opening the bottle, there is a big sweeping aroma of flowers. It's a gorgeous refreshing smell, not too floral, and reminds me of being deep in the forest near where the waterfalls are! Funnily, this conditioner is called 'Rain Forest Flowers'!

I used this just after shampooing and once again, it smells gorgeous. The smell is not too pungent, and it gives the senses a good pamper, almost like having a spa session.

The consistency of the conditioner is that of a light cream, it seems to disappear very quickly into the hair on application, so I have had to use almost twice as much in quantity compared with the amount I used with my shampoo. I would probably say you need a very large handful for good coverage if you have long hair. It rinses out pretty well and the lovely smell is still apparent even after a thorough rinse.

Unfortunately, as soon as my hair dries, I can already see that it doesn't quite live up to what is says on the bottle. My hair felt the same as usual, probably a bit more drier than usual which is worrying. There wasn't really any of the shine or silkiness that I had expected, even more disappointment since I had applied quite a bit onto my hair.

The conditioner costs around £1.99 for a 400ml bottle, if you buy both the shampoo and conditioner together, you can be sure that the conditioner will be used up first, as I find that I need twice as much conditioner per wash.

Unfortunately, the only good thing about the conditioner is that it smells gorgeous and also leaves your hair smelling lovely for a good few hours after.

Not very nourishing but a very good hair perfume

      Thanks for reading. xx

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Left my hair really soft, smelling great and good value for money.

I have to admit that I am not brand loyal when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. I remember reading once that hair can become used to a product and that it becomes less effective through continuous use. However to be honest, my lack of loyalty is more due to the fact that I like a bargain and tend to buy what is on offer! This is how I came across this conditioner.

I haven't bought it before as the original advert really got on my nerves (girl in shower moaning!), but at Morrisons the 400ml bottle was half-price at just £1.29 so I deceided to give it a go.

The conditioner comes in a lovely lilac coloured bottle with a green flip top. It is now called 'Dazzling Shine' and is suitable for normal hair. The conditioner is white in colour and has a really thick consistency that is difficult to get out of the bottle, even when the bottle is left upside down overnight. It needs a really hard squeeze, and even then a shake to actually get the product out. (I could foresee this becoming a problem as the bottle becomes emptier).

However, purely by accident when using this product in the bath, I dropped it in and found that a little water mixed in with the conditioner made it an easier consistency to deal with, didn't affect its performance and in fact makes it last even longer!

The product smells really nice, flowery and clean, and has a lasting fragrance that you can smell all day. It left my shoulder length hair soft and shiny so certainly did its job well. There is a note on the bottle that says that the pack is 'blossoming into the new light green Dazzling Shine' soon, so if you wanted this product for its purple packaging you will be out of luck.

I would recommend this product for 2 very good reasons. It does a really good job of conditioning hair, and will last a lot longer if mixed with a little water making it really good value for money,

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Superb shine

I am actually in love with Herbal Essences Rainforest Flower Conditioner - it is possiblt the most beautiful smelling product I have come across in the hair care market so far. Not only that though, it is a fantastic conditioner too and leaves hair really soft and shiny.
I have being using Herbal Essences Rainforest Flower Conditioner for ages now and I have medium length, fine wavy hair that I sometimes straighten. As it is wavy, it needs a condition that will bring frizz under control and this one certainly does.
You only need to use a small amount of the conditioner to get an effective result so the amount you get in a bottle always last for a considerable time which makes it fantastic value for money also.
Leaving the condition in the hair for several minutes improves the result and this is made even better by using the matching conditioner. Often Herbal Essences are on special offer (BOGOF) so this is a brilliant value for money product.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Yes! Yes! Yes!

Herbal Essences Rainforest Flowers Conditioner for Normal Hair is fantastic. I use the conditioner after I have washed my hair using the matching shampoo to detangle and tame my long hair. The conditioner is sold in a lilac coloured plastic bottle which is a little bit darker than the colour of the shampoo.

The conditioner has a very thick consistency and sometimes it is difficult to get out of the bottle. I usually just tip the bottle upside down and give it a vigorous shake to dispense the conditioner. Getting the conditioner out of the bottle is a bit like getting tomato ketchup from the bottle and needs a little force.

Once you have got some conditioner out of the bottle you will notice that it is a creamy lilac colour which has a slightly pearlescent appearance to it. The conditioner feels very creamy and silky smooth to the touch and doesn't have a sticky greasy feel to it.

The conditioner has extracts Passion Flower, Patchouli and Vetiver which leave your hair feeling soft, shiny and smelling gorgeous. The conditioner doesn't smell overly floral because of the strong passion flower extract; it has a very refreshing and fruity undertone to it which breaks down the scent of the passion flower giving it a much lighter and refreshing scent.

After I have shampooed my hair with the Rainforest Flowers Shampoo I use a fairly large blob of the conditioner on my hair, and I cover my hair from roots to tips. Once I have applied the conditioner to my hair I can run my fingers through it very easily and this also helps to evenly distribute the conditioner. You can either wash the conditioner off straight away, or leave it in your hair for 3 minutes then wash it off; either way you still get the same results.

When I am washing the conditioner off my hair I have to be quite careful because the conditioner is very thick and sometimes I miss a bit which results in me having a greasy patch of hair. I take twice as long rinsing the conditioner off so as I am sure not to miss any parts.

As soon as I have rinsed all traces of the conditioner from my hair, my hair feels very silky smooth and soft and I can run a brush through it effortlessly without coming across any tangles. My hair is also left with a gorgeous long-lasting fruity passionflower scent which can be smelled throughout the whole day.

Once I dry may hair, either using a hairdryer or letting it dry naturally, it has a very smooth, sleek and shiny appearance. My hair feels very soft, and the conditioner doesn't make it too soft so as my hair is frizzy or untameable.

I highly recommend using this conditioner and the matching shampoo because it will leave your hair feeling soft, smooth, manageable, shiny and smelling fantastic.

Herbal Essences rainforest Flowers Conditioner for Normal Hair is available in a 200ml and 400ml bottle. A 200ml bottle costs £1.99 and a 400ml bottle costs £3.89 available from most supermarkets and chemists. I find that I use twice as much conditioner than I do shampoo, so I usually buy a 200ml bottle of shampoo and a 400ml bottle of conditioner.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Its the best conditioner I've ever used

I used to really love a somewhat expensive conditioner from the Body Shop called Palmshine. It was the only conditioner I had ever found which did exactly what I wanted to my 2 - 3 foot long normal hair. But then it was discontinued, my stash I bought in the sales dried up, and I was left in search of another conditioner which would do the same job.

So what did I want from a conditioner?

I wanted it to leave my hair not greasy nor dry. I wanted it smooth and silky and tangle free. I wanted to easily be able to run a brush through it. Plus I wanted it to smell gorgeous. A tall order, but not an unreasonable one.

I admit I was first attracted to this conditioner because of the colour and pattern on the bottle and the name. It kind of made me feel like I was going into the wild and washing my hair in a waterfall. I like the idea of nice natural ingredients. The price was also very attractive, as it was on a buy-one-get-one-free offer, so I got two bottles for less than two pounds. Its often on this offer in Boots and Superdrug and a variet of supermarkets.

So, I gave it a try.

I was truely amazed. Its even better than my old friend Palmshine, and at a fraction of the price, I was hooked! It did all the things I wanted it to and I LOVE the smell. I have been using it for about a year now and there is no way I'm going to be using anything else until they drastically change the ingredients or discontinue it. There is always one of these pretty purple bottles gracing my bathroom shelf.

Last Christmas I was watching a daytime telly programme on TV where they were reviewing beauty products and up this little beauty came. The expert was saying how it delivers salon quality conditioning and a gorgeous clean smell without the huge price tag that comes with salon products. SHE was even recommending it.

I can't rate this product highly enough. Providing you have normal hair and like the smell of this conditioner, I doubt you will be disappointed.
