I have just realised and gone back into my review on the Conditioner to realise that many of the ingredients are the same!! Well no surprise there really - most of these products are all the same stuff with a few selective items. It is the choice of these items and quanities / ratio used that separates the shampoos from the conditioners and their quality. T...more

Clairol Herbal Essences Dry & Damaged Shampoo range Clairol's was first established 1931 by a chemist and his wife. The name of the company was taken a hair-coloring preparation the couple found while traveling in Europe. By 1950, Clairol became a household name and now an international product with a vast range of hair product, made even more famous by the catchphrase, "Does she...or doesn't she? Only her hairdresser knows for sure." As I have mentioned in another review about a conditioner I have highlights in my hair and am now being classed as 'middle aged' I have noticed my hair needs a very good shampoo & ...  Read the complete review

This is the shampoo from those really annoying adverts, but in all fairness the product is actually really rather good. The rainforest flower shampoo is a fairly new addition to the range and in my opinion it lives up to the high standard the rest of the products have set. You can buy this product in a variety of sizes and I find the smallest one particularly useful for going on holiday because the bottles are rectangular and slimline so they don't take up a lot of room. The shampoo itself smells delicious and rainforest flower has a really fruity scent that lasts even after you dry your hair with a hairdryer. There is also a conditioner to accompany the ...  Read the complete review

Clairol Herbal Essences Rainforest Flower Shampoo smells absolutley georgous and the fresh as a daisy smell stays on your hair for ages!! I am a fan of Clairol Hair Products and first tried the Rainforest Flower Shampoo recently as I was fed up with my previous brand and wanted a fresh new smell for summer. My hair is regularly coloured and is therefore prone to being dry and damaged and this shampoo worked really well with it. I felt the shampoo was mild enough for dry hair but still had the ability to make it squeaky clean. You only need a little of this shampoo as it lathers really well and leaves even the dirtiest hair squeaky clean after just ...  Read the complete review

Now after those adverts how could I not try the new herbal essences shampoo? The price is pretty good and you can nearly always find these in a deal in some store or another! The bottle looks really good in the bathroom, and I love the rich red colour of the shampoo itself. The smell is simply divine, and does just make you go "ooh yummy!" out loud (or is that just me?!). It apparently contains chinese cinnamon and ginger oil, but I couldn't smell those, but it does smell good! It foams up really well and you don't need an awful lot, which is great as it tends to last a while before you have to replace it. It is marketed as a shampoo ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clairol Herbal Essences Rainforest Flower Shampoo for Dry / Damaged Hair: yes Yes YES! (156 words)

This is the first seperate shampoo i have used as i usually use a 2 in 1 that shall remain nameless! It was only by chance that i got attracted to the bottle whilst shopping in Boots. After smelling it i had to buy it. The fragrance is one of the best things about this shampoo. And it doesn't fade as soon as you dry your hair either, its keeps your hair smelling nice for days. It lathers up really well and i found i didn't have to use much to cover all my hair (i have very long hair) and i'd found myself using twice if not 3 times the amount with previous products. The cost is quite low considering the reputable brand and the fact that it actually works. ...  Read the complete review
