Advantages: good packaging, good texture & gives great results
Disadvantages: none for our family
Cor Blimey - however many shampoos & conditioners do Clairol actually produce?! - they seem to cater for all types of hair including colour-treated, fine. roots etc & seem to include dozens of different fragrances - just have a look on the Dooyoo list & you'll see what I mean!
My daughters & I all have shoulder-length or slightly longer & we all like to wash our hair daily so buying shampoo which suits us all, yet suits my pocket, is quite a process. I usually opt for 'known' shampoos which are on offer & found this lovely looking bottle in one of our many Pound shops (normally it costs around £1.79 - £1.99).
It looks attractive & there's a lovely picture of a passion flower on the front of the clear bottle which shows the lilac shampoo through the container.
It has a green flip-tip lid & when opened the hole is a good size which means you can squeeze as much or as little as you need. The top closes firmly as well so you can keep the shampoo fresh & it can't spill if you knock it over.
The smell is truly lovely - it's a gorgeous mix of passion flower, patchouli & vetifer which comes under the umbrella, one presumes, of the 'Rainforest Flowers' description.
The shampoo isn't as thick as some but is great & it lathers very well as it isn't too creamy. Once rinsed we can still smell the lovely fragrance & our hair. as well as the bathroom, smell really nice for quite a while after washing our locks.
It's easy to rinse, left our hair almost tangle-free, clean, soft & shiny. I have quite fine hair now & my daughters have thicker (but not what you'd call 'thick') & it suited us all.
The bottle is 400g & I think it will last for quite a few washes so,for the price & results, I think this is a pretty good buy especially if you find it on offer & also have a look for the matching conditioner if you like the shampoo.
