Advantages: Cleans hair well, gives hair a little more body, smells divine.
Disadvantages: None.
When it comes to shampoo, I turn to Herbal Essences on a regular basis. Not only are their hair products affordable, but they also perform well and smell divine. Plus they're often on sale making them quite a bargain. This particular shampoo has a "lightweight formula" (which means it doesn't weigh your hair down) with white nectarine and pink coral flower extracts and is meant for fine/normal hair. While my hair isn't exactly fine, it does tend to get a little flat by the end of the day so I was interested in seeing how this shampoo would work.
Packaging
This shampoo comes in a curved plastic bottle that is clear with an orange tinge to it, allowing you to see how much shampoo is left inside. The top of the bottle is orange and green. To dispense the shampoo, you press down on one side of the lid and a small opening pops up on the other side-much better than having to deal with fiddly lids with wet hands!
The shampoo
The shampoo is clear with an orange tinge to it. It is easily dispensed from the bottle but is not too runny. It smells absolutely gorgeous! The scent fills my bathroom when I use it and is floral and fruity at the same time and really is divine, just as expected. It does linger on my hair and I love catching whiffs of it on my hair through the day. You use this just like you would use any other shampoo. It lathers quite well and you just need a small amount to wash your hair. It rinses out very easily and I then follow up with conditioner (not from the same range) as I have dry ends. My hair does feel quite clean after using this shampoo and stays this way for a day (which is normal for me as I have greasy roots).
Once it had dried, my hair felt quite soft and smooth, had a little more volume and bounce, and did not get flat by the end of the day. That was all I needed so I was more than satisfied, but those with very fine hair may be disappointed. My hair looked healthy and was nice and shiny, so for me at least the results were very good.
Price and Availability
This shampoo is available in 200 ml and 400 ml bottles. It can be bought at most supermarkets and chemists as well as online, and the 400 ml bottle is currently retailing for £3.49 at Boots and is on a 3 for 2 offer. Herbal Essences products are often on offer so I suggest you search for one before buying.
Final Word
I always buy Herbal Essences products on "buy one get one free" or half price offers, so for the price I paid for this I was more than satisfied and have no complaints at all. My hair felt clean, soft and smooth after use and although there wasn't a huge difference in terms of volume, my hair did have a little more body and was not flat at the end of day. Plus the scent is heavenly! You only need to use a small amount so the bottle does last quite long and is excellent value for money. I recommend this shampoo and would purchase again.

Summary: A great shampoo for those that need a little more bounce in their hair.
