Advantages: gets rid of grey
Disadvantages: .
Clairol FEELING GREY I was feeling grey, noticed my grey wings reappearing. I didn?t want to go red again, its summer lighten up a little. I looked at the varieties of hair colours in tesco?s and decided I would go a light golden brown with Clairol. I bought level 1 lasts 6-8 washes. In the box is a pair of gloves to protect your hands from staining and a plastic bag hat. It also contains a bottle of crème colorant and a sachet of leave in conditioner. Easy to put on as you apply it to dry hair just open the twist nozzle and squeeze on I made sure I got a good coverage concentrating on the grey areas first. My hair is long and I found enough colorant for my hair. After applying the colour I swept my hair up and put on the plastic bag/ hat I then wrapped that in an old towel and went downstairs for a coffee. 25 minutes later my coffee drunk I went upstairs and rinsed it thoroughly it says shampooing not necessary, so I didn?t. I put the conditioner on and then went and dried my hair a little still a bit damp (it takes forever to dry my hair). Result when dry my hair much the same still a bit reddish the grey bits are a light brown though so it mostly coloured those. Maybe I should have waited till all the red had faded I am usually a mousy brown. So not so grey any way and a fairly good condition. It will only just last me over a week any way as it says lasts 6-8 washes oh well I can buy another box of a different colour next time This product as all hair colouring products recommend skin and strand test, did I? No But I have used this brand before and I am not a very sensitive body anyway.

- 23/03/03 Good review. I hate dying my hair, the smell of the dye is always horrible no matter what they try and cover it up with.
