Advantages: shiny, rich colour
Disadvantages: not very foamy, uneven coverage
i'm used to using Clairol Nice'n Easy dye, and when I saw this one advertised, i thought it might be worth giving it a go. to start with, there are a few disadvantages to the hairdye before you've even brought it, such as the fact that there isn't that many colours to choose from in the collection (hopefully more will be brought out in time) and also the fact that it is a little more expensive than the normal bottled hairdye. I got the hairdye in 'medium chestnut brown' if i remember rightly.. as this is the closest to the colour i had been using in the normal hairdye.
when i got home and dyed my hair with the dye, it doesn't really appear to be as 'foamy' as it shows in picture, adverts, on the box and how it is described. It foams slightly but is nowhere near the consistancy of the foam dye i was expecting and towards the end was rather watery:S
this wateryness makes the hairdye quite drippy and awkward so i would recommend a towell around your shoulders, cover all the floor and suceptable objects around you and moisterise your face/neck/ears to avoid dying the surrounding skin.. like i said, awkward.
the colour was rich and shiny and looked nice, only the colour was nowhere near as even and the coverage on my roots wasn't that great either.
It probably works alot better on short hair that you're dying quite dark but otherwise, i'd stick to the usuall hairdye!:-)
Summary: stick to the non-foam nice n' easy if i was you!
