Advantages: Cleaner and easier to apply
Disadvantages: Less coverage and not as good a result
Being a regular hair colour user I like to think i have tried pretty much all the brands out there, Clairol are probably one of the best I prefer to use. I like the range of colours and cover. When i colour my hair i always manage to splatter my back and all surrounding areas and always end up with my wrists coloured as well as my neck and ears. So imagine my excitement at a new 'Foam' colourant. I was due a new colour so off i popped to the supermarket and found these on offer 2 for £6 i think it was. I got it home and proceeded to colour my hair. Mixed as instructed, did as instructed Shake etc then spent a good 5 mins trying to figure out how on earth do i pump this foam checked out the instructions to no avil finally by accident i figured out i had to squeeze the bottle, went on to colour my hair and found that not only did it not seem to be nearly enough for my hair that once you get to a certain point the foam is no longer a foam and more of a liquid residue which i could no longer pump. When i finally washed and dried i was not in the least bit impressed by the colour nor thecover i was left with some patches which granted was mainly due to the way i applied but given there wasnt nearly enough as i would usually have in the liquid form it was hardly likely i would have a 100% head of new colour. So all in all i found this product to be less messy but in the long run a great deal more expensive trying to fix what went wrong. Personal recommendation would be stick to the old, out with the New.
Summary: Out with the New and back in with the old!
