I have used home hair dyes in the past and found that I need somebody to help me apply them. When I've applied them myself I end up missing patches of my hair and end up leaving it a mismatch of colour. I saw the averts for the foam hair colour and was a bit unsure that it would actually work at first...it seemed a bit too good to be true. The application of the foam is really easy, it is just like putting on a shampoo. I used the black colour foam and it took to my hair really quickly and the colour was the same as on the box. The one problem I did find though is it tends to stain any bit of your skin it gets on so you need to be careful when applying around your ears and neck. It also stained my sink black to, it did however wash away eventually after a good scrubbing. All in all a great easy product, just avoid skin contact
