Advantages: Great results

Disadvantages: Hard to colour your crown

I have recently gone from blonde back to my natural colour and my hairdresser told me that despite putting a permanent brown on top of the blonde, it will fade and I would need to go back and keep having semi permanent dye on it to build up the pigment. Now I am trying to save a few pennies at the moment so decided to give it a go myself. I kept putting it off and putting it off until my hair got to the point where it looked quite gingery. It was only by chance that I was looking at the reduced aisle in Tesco and saw a box of this 'Nice and Easy' hair dye for just £1.80. I know nothing about the 'good and bad' of hair dye so thought this was probably as good as any.

In the box I got two bottles of dye which were suppose to be mixed together and shaken and then applied to the hair immediately. I also got a big pouch of conditioner which I was to apply after I had rinsed the dye out.

This product was really easy to use. The bottle that you use to apply the dye has a small nozzle on the end so you can get right into the bulk of the hair and make sure you get the hair line.

The amount of dye that I was received was more than enough. I have long hair and it's quite thick but I managed to cover it all to the point of 'soaking' and I was left with a quarter of a bottle left which they recommend to throw away.

I kept the dye on my head for fifteen minutes and rinsed it out. It only took around five minutes before the water was running clear and I was ready for the conditioner. This was also very easy to apply and I could instantly tell that my hair was going to get a good lot of nourishment from it.

The product claims to cover grey hairs 100% but I can't really comment on that. I will say that my hair was very light before dying it and it's covered everything. I am so impressed with the results that I am going to go back to tesco and buy the other two bottles that were reduced (hopefully they are still there!).

Not only is my hair a lovely colour but it's feeling supersoft and the colour has lasted although it has faded a bit. I think you get this with most hair dyes though especially semi permanents.

I would highly recommend this dye because it's so easy to use and I got great results.

Summary: A great dye
