Advantages: Gives good results; Easy to use; Doesn't smell too bad

Disadvantages: None

I dyed my hair last night because I was getting a bit sick of being blonde and wanted a darker colour to cut back on the amount of money I'm having to spend at the hairdressers getting my roots done.

I brought Nice & Easy because it was only £4.00 in Morrisons and they had a good selection of browns to pick from. I can't remember the shade number but it's called Light Natural Brown and that's very close to my natural colour so I knew it would suit me.

It works the same as any other hair dye and you have to mix the colour with the developer and give it a shake. The colour this one goes is a manky green and is a bit weird and scared me a bit because there is no way I wanted horrible green hair! lol

The colour is easy to apply, you can use the nozzle on the bottle but I always just squeeze some into my hand and apply it like that. I made sure my hair was completely covered and waited for 45 mins for it to develop, the instructions say 25 mins but I forgot but luckily it was ok!

When you come to rinse the colour out it's very easy to do and only took about 5 mins for the water to run clear, that's a lot quicker than another brand I used last time before I got my hair bleached. When I washed my hair this morning no more come out so I dont think it will be one of them dyes that runs over time.

The tube of conditioner is brill, it made my hair feel proper soft and silky and it's quite a big tube. They say it's enough for 5 applications but I reckon I'll get more out of it than that.

Nice & Easy is known as a bit of an old womans colour but I think it's given proper good results, the colour is even and it didn't smell disgusting like a lot of hair dyes. The colour made my head itch quite bad while it was on but that's the same with any hair dye you use so it can't lose marks for that.

Summary: And Now I'm Brunette!

I used Nice n Easy for years and found it really damaged my hair compared to other dyes such as Garnier Nutrisse...I'd recommend trying Nutrisse next time.
