Advantages: really does cover grey hair
Disadvantages: none
I've been going grey since I was fifteen years old,so as you can imagine I've dyed my hair an awful lot over the years. I started off using those little "Toners" and"Shaders"sachets, just a little hint of colour, but very easy to put on for a first-timer and very cheap too. Then I moved up the chain a bit and went on to Harmony as they were a bit more permanent, more depth of colour and offered more time between re-touches. I had varying success with these but quite regularly had large patches of hair that had missed the dye completely, but I was only in my teens! Next I moved on to better quality and much more expensive dyes like Glints, L'oreal and Nice and Easy, much much better results thankfully. The ones that you can put on dry hair are a gift if your hair is long as it is quite difficult to see if you are doing it all by yourself. Colouring my hair never seemed to be a real problem until last year (I'm now 36) for some strange reason my hair has decided to become the dreaded "Resistant Grey". It was just to expensive to go to a hair salon to have it re-coloured all the time but nothing I tried in the shops seem to do the trick. Then I discovered Nice and Easy especially for resistant grey. Hmm...I thought, I've read that before, but nevertheless I gave it a go.I'm very pleased that I did. It covered up the grey hair and left my hair feeling lovely and silky and shiny. My hair is fairly long and thick but there was enough in one pack to cover it completely so it's very economical too. It's really simple to use just mix the two bottles together shake until thickened and then you can start to apply it. One of the things I like about it is that you put it on dry hair, so you can really see where it's going and they give you a conditioner to put on afterwards, which helps to stop tangles and dryness.I've also found that the colour doesn
9;t fade away either it lasts along time and so it's more likely that you will only want to use it again to touch up root growth. You also get a pair of plastic gloves in the kit to prevent your hands getting stained but I don't think that they're all that good(they split very easily and they feel horrible) so I use rubber ones. An excellent product I definitely recommend it.
