I have been dying my hair for over 20 years and never had a problem until now.... i bought the 'new and improved' Nice n Easy Dark Brown... the first dye badly stained my face and took a week to remove/wear away...that was a month ago. Yesterday I put the same hai dye on and within 5 mins my head was burning my face head and neck were bright red..... and burning hot!!!! I got in the shower straight away and rinsed it all off with cold water. My lips went numb.... face like severe red sunburn... i had to go to hospital..... they said it was an allergice reaction to the hair dye... i have never had an allergic reaction to anything in my life.... theres obviously something very wrong in the ' New and Improved' formula!!! AVOID!!!!!

I used Nice and Easy Medium Brown. I previously had turquoise and pink hair, which had been previously bleached. I had scrubbed it with Head and Shoulders for two weeks to remove as much of the bright colour as possible.It seems on that most of the bad reviews might be to do with an allergic reaction as it states all the symptoms in the instructions as allergic reaction.So i definitely advise a skin test!My colour turned out well, just dried it, was hoping for a darker colour though.Don't be put off by the bad reviews, most people who have good experiences don't think about writing reviews because they have no problems.Just make sure you do the skin test.
