      Disadvantages

Wonderful shampoo for frizzy / curly / big hair!

I have quite thick, wiry hair which can be prone to dryness and frizz. It can sometimes be unmanageable and have little shine to it, and be difficult to brush and style. It's naturally curly and I usually have to use a few different hair products as well as straighteners to get it to the point where it's even decent enough to tie into a ponytail! It seems quite dead in general and I've been trying a few different kinds of shampoo lately to see what works best for it. Clynol Revive and Repair Shampoo has worked really well for me though and has calmed down the level of frizz, added a little shine and made it feel generally stronger and less rough. I can't say it's been a miracle fix but it's the best luck I've had yet and I'll continue using it for as long as I need!

The shampoo is said to revive and rehydrate dead, breaking hair and give it new life, as well as supporting the cuticles and fibres. I agree wholeheartedly that the shampoo definitely succeeds in this venture and goes beyond what the average shampoo does to give your hair the best of health.

I purchase a bottle of 300ml in my local hairdressing supply store for £9.95 although it is available online for cheaper. It's worth the money and doesn't run out as quick as you'd expect!

The shampoo has a thick and creamy texture with a beautiful floral kind of smell which is subtle and not overpowering. It does leave your hair smelling nice but doesn't completely overwhelm it. It lathers up thickly with just a little bit of water and I find you only really need a little dab of it to cover the entire head. Paired up with Clynol Recovery Conditioner my head feels beautiful after a shower!

It's a nice shampoo for sure and does well to tame crazy hair, although I'm sure it would give an even more beautiful silky effect on regular hair as it isn't limited to hair which is in need of a rescue. I really like the brand also and hadn't given it much thought before but will definitely try more products produced by it since my good experiences with their repair shampoo.
