I bought a tube of this conditioner for blonde hair from Home Bargains mainly with the intention of keeping it in my swimming bag. I hoped the blonde ambition with it would help target the evils of chlorine in the swimming pool.
I do get really knotty hair and rely on treatments and conditioner to keep it from getting too dry and beyond brushing knotty (yes, I'm talking dreadlocks here!). It's not a pleasant experience so any help I can get I'm definitely interested.
I find I have to use rather a lot of this conditioner to cover the lengths and ends of my hair and it's in the shower facilities at the swimming pool. It does smells really nice and helps to condition my hair.
This was just 99p in Home Bargains.
I really wanted this product to help me combat the terrible knots I get in my blonde (dyed) hair. It is horrible to comb through when wet and I do find this conditioner helps a bit with that although I also use a spray afterwards to help with the combing through.
I bought this with the shampoo by the same makers from the same range and together they worked quite well I think. I liked them well enough when used together and to be fair they don't break the bank for the price paid.
I do think there are a lot better conditioners out there on the market but obviously they cost a lot more than this one does.
I was using a more expensive brand of conditioner for blonde hair but came across this one in home bargains and b@m stores for 99p and decided to give it a try and i must say i was really happy with the product it leaves my hair in great condition and feels really soft , and with using the shampoo also i find there is very little difference only the price . Everyone is different so my not suit everyone but for me the product is good
WHAT IS IT?
Conditioner that is made by Creightons. It is for people who have got blond hair and there is a shampoo to match it.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
You wash your hair and then apply conditioner to the length of the hair and rinse it off. The conditioner is very thin and drips when I apply it, it is not creamy and does not feel pleasing on my hair.
WHAT I THINK
I do not like this conditioner because it does not help my hair and that is a pity because I like the shampoo very much as an everyday product. I do not like that the conditioner is so thin because it drips off my hair and it is hard to spread through my hair.
When I rinse it off it does not all come out of my hair and sometimes it leaves a residue that makes my hair hang greasy after about half a day. I have stopped using this conditioner now because of this and it did not ever make any improvement to my hair, it made my hair very dry sometimes and then very greasy on other days.
I like the tube that the conditioner comes in because it feels nice and looks nice like it is a more expensive product than it is. It is easy to squeeze enough conditioner out but do not hold the bottle too straight because it will come out too fast and you will waste it.
You can buy Sunshine Blonde conditioner for £1 and that is cheap but it is not value because it does not work very well. I do not know if it protects the colour of my blond hair because I could not use it for long enough.
1 Dooyoo Star.
As I reviewed Creightons Sunshine Blonde Intensive Care Shampoo yesterday I thought it only appropriate that I follow with a review on the matching conditioner. Like the shampoo, I picked this conditioner up in poundland but it is also available in other discount stores such as B&m and Home & Bargain, priced at £1. I have found that this product is not always in stock so tend to buy a few when available.
Creightons Sunshine Blonde Intensive Care Conditioner comes in a 250ml "gold" tube which stands on its flip lid. The brand and product name are shown on the front of the tube along with the fact that this conditioner is for both natural and colour treated hair. Creightons claim that this product "infuses a smooth, silky feel to dry or damaged blonde hair".
The back of the tube gives general information including ingredients list, warnings and directions for use. Once opened the product should be used within twelve months.
The shampoo itself is white in colour and of a fairly thick sticky consistency. It smells just like the matching shampoo which I can only describe as being a rather generic clean fragrance. It is an unoffensive smell but rather boring, it does have a brilliant longevity and can be smelled on the hair for quite sometime.
Creightons claim that this conditioner will help protect hair from styling, chemical and environmental damage. It contains Pro Vitamin B5 and vitamin E to replenish hair adding moisture whilst improving hairs elasticity and resilience. It also promises to be gentle on blonde hair and keep the colour looking bright and vibrant.
I always use this conditioner after first using the matching shampoo. I find only a small amount if the conditioner is needed to cover my hair. I massage it in like any other conditioner and leave it to do is work. Creightons suggest leaving for 2-3 minutes to enable the conditioner to penetrate the hair, I tend to leave it on for as long as possible, perhaps 5-8 minutes. The conditioner feels nice on the hair, albeit a little sticky, it is easily washed out leaving no unwanted residues behind. I then dry and style my hair as usual.
When using Conditioner my coloured blonde hair is left looking and feeling soft and deeply moisturised. I tend to suffer from fluffy frizzy ends, but this conditioner tames them. I certainly feel that my hair is less prone to breakages and split ends, it feels stronger. My blonde hair stays brighter for longer and reduces any dullness.
I buy Creightons Sunshine Blonde Intensive Conditioner on a regular basis, because it works brilliantly and I love it. Over the years I have used countless amounts of conditioners that promise to keep my coloured blonde locks looking bright and in a brilliant condition but most tend to fall a little short. I have found that high brand salon style products work brilliantly but unfortunately my budget doesn't always stretch enough to purchase them. In my opinion Creightons Sunshine Blonde gives the same results as some of the more expensive brands and at just a fraction of the cost.
* These results are based on using Creightons Sunshine Blonde Intensive Care Conditioner alongside the matching shampoo
* Creightons also make a Beautiful Brunette shampoo and matching conditioner which may be of some interest to others.
