Advantages: none

Disadvantages: sticky gunk!

Dax wave and groom is meant for short hair ie cropped hair. I bought a tin on the recommendation of a friend. I was very impressed with how cheap it was, but that's the only thing I was impressed with unfortunately!

The blurb on the tin states that your hair will become more manageable (- suppose it is if its all stuck together!) shiny and healthy looking ( my hair looked dull and lifeless!)

I found it to be extremely sticky, it took ages to wash off my hands and as for my hair well that's another story!

It comes in a tin and basically you need to melt it down by rubbing it in your hands and then applying it to your hair. The instructions on the tin suggest combing out the excess - I tried but the comb got stuck! It has incredible staying power it took 3 washes before I finally got it out of my hair! It left my hair feeling very sticky and sort of clumped together.

This is not on my buy again list! I'd advise you to use it with caution and only if you've got very short hair!!!

I have to agree that this stuff is very sticky, but after using it for a year I have found that soap usually helps to get it off your hands, and using a blob of washing up liquid before washing your hair is a sure way to get it out first time!

The same thing happened to me, it would have been better putting lard in my hair
