“ Brand: Derma V10 / Type: Hair Lotion „
Why I Bought This
For many years I have always used the Amami setting lotion. However this seems to be discontinued and I a bit dubious of buying ti from places such as Ebay.
I therefore found this setting lotion in my local chemist and as it looked the same watery sort as Amami - and it was only £1 I thought I would give it a try.

I was very disappointed when I was unable to keep buying my old Amami setting lotion and not being able to get out and about to trawl the shops thought I would have a losing battle trying to find a good replacement.
Having to pop into my local chemist for a prescription for hubby a while ago I spotted this clear lilac lotion and thought it might work in the same way as Amami so bought a bottle - being only £1 was a real bonus.
In use I find this a very good setting lotion for my needs.
I do not use the product all over my hair but just on the front and sides. After drying my hair I put some of the lotion on my hands and apply through my hair and then just comb and lift into the required place and leave it to set.
A bonus with this lotion too is, as opposed to mousses etc, it dries really quickly. Once dry your hair will feel stiff but then I just comb through and the stiffness goes but the hair does stay in the place that you put it - not in a stiff way but quite naturally - if going somewhere special I will finish with a squirt of hairspray.
My hair is very fine and thin and this gives it a bit of a boost - it is easy to apply and dries in literally minutes.
This is one I am definitely sticking with and I have just got my son to pick me up a few more bottles - I much prefer this type of setting lotion to all the new style gels and mousses.
The bottle states it will last for 8-10 applications but the little I use means a bottle will last me probably 40+ uses.
