Disadvantages: None at all in my opinion!
When my Mother recently bought home Dove Shampoo I was really pleased! As it was on offer at the time she purchased the conditioner too and I do love matching products so couldn't wait to try them out!
I always use separate conditioners on my hair as I feel I need a bit of extra moisturising after shampooing my hair as I suffer with dry and/or split ends but I do have to be careful what conditioners I use as I really do have combination hair cos although I have those issues with my ends of my hair I suffer a fluffy and bouncy mid section to my hair and roots that are prone to going very limp very quickly as they are quite greasy as well lol! So getting the right shampoos and conditioners can be a right trial and tribulation for me I can tell you!
The Packaging....
200ml white plastic bottle with flip-top lid to the bottom of it concealing a small hole. On the front in blue and silver writing I'm told it is Dove Therapy, Balance Therapy Conditioner With Protecting Serum and that it's for normal hair. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed as are contact details for Unilever (the manufacturer of Dove products) are given, size and the recycle symbol are displayed and finally there is a bar-code on there. Nice, simple bottle this and it's informative enough and simple to use.

Me Using This....
This is really simple to use though no directions are given on the bottle! I simply wash my hair through a couple of times with shampoo (I choose to use the corresponding shampoo to this but you don't have to of course) and then I either splodge a small amount of this through wet hair or I gently squeeze out excess moisture from my barnet and then apply this, whatever you do with it really is fine!
All you need of this fruity but not distinctive smelling white and glossy lotion is not much at all! It has serum in it which gives it a bit of grease content thus making a little of this go a long way! It smooths hair as it goes and you can either rinse it off pretty much as soon as your sure you touched all of your hair or leave it on for a couple minutes. Again I leave mine on my head for a few minutes before rinsing it out simply to really let it penetrated and rehydrate my hair and give it some nourishment!
It rinses out with ease and even as you rinse it out you can feel you hair is in a smooth condition.
Results....
Really soft, beautifully fragranced hair! Although hair is left in a glossy and smooth state it is still easy to style and although not weighed down (as promised) it isn't fly-away either, you simply proceed as normal!
I love this conditioner for ease of use, the fragrance but also since using this my hair has had less breakage and feels lighter like there's no residue in my hair anymore weighing it down. My hair feels really conditioned after using this without upsetting my usually greasy roots and all round my hair just looks more silky smooth and glossy!
This in my opinion is a brilliant conditioner which is perfect for every-day use but also great for when hair is looking a bit shabby for an instant pick me up! I shall buy this time and time again!
Available in all good supermarkets etc priced at about £2.29 a bottle but more often than not this is on offer so keep your eyes peeled!
Summary: Just love it I do lol
