I change my shampoo and conditioner a lot as my hair seems to get used to a product and then not I do not get as good of a result as when I begin using the product. When the Dove range was on offer in my local supermarket I decided to give this one a go, I knew the Dove range was good as I had already tried another in their range.

This range usually costs about £2.50 a bottle and considering I always use a shampoo and conditioner this is more than I like to pay but I bought it when it was on offer at £1 a bottle.

The Dove Shampoo and Conditioner which I always use together promise to "protect normal hair from day to day damage"

The bottles are white in colour and is tapered so it is wider at the bottom than at the top. The bottle has some light blue bits on it and of course states the name of the product and states the above claim. I like the simplicity of the bottle and feel that once you have used the product it speaks for itself so over the top packaging isn't needed.

The shampoo has the usual Dove scent to it which I always find hard to describe, I would say it smells clean but also very slightly floral, I have always really liked the Dove smell and this product was no different.

The shampoo is a pretty thick consistency although it comes out of the bottle easily with a little squeeze. The shampoo lathers up really well and you don't need to use much at all which means that although it is more expensive than some it does last probably about as long as they do. When the shampoo is lathered up it feels really silky on your hair and then it rinses out easily without leaving residue however it probably take a little longer to rinse than most as there is so much lather.

I will continue using this product but since I change my products so often I will wait until it is on offer to use it again. This product along with the conditioner left my hair soft and silky and tangle free. My hair needs washing every 1-2 days depending on the product I am using and this one allows me 2 days which is another good thing for me. 4 out of 5 from me only the full price lets it down.
