Advantages: Errrr, it washes...

Disadvantages: Runny, smells awful, doesn't work :(

I wash my hair everyday so try to use good shampoos that aren't expensive to keep my hair in good condition like the Dove range...

I bought this 'Intense Care Therapy' for a pound a couple of months back when the range was on offer on Wilkinson's because I liked what I read on the bottle and it seemed perfect for my hair which is in pretty bad condition from dying and blow-drying and straightening every day :(

This blue bottle (recycle please!) says the contents have a new formula that is an advanced serum to help 'dry & damaged hair' like mine so it was definitely worth trying!

250ml of quite runny white shampoo with a quite sickly chemical fragrance that I didn't like at all, which can be used up to a year after opening...

Made by Unilever this stuff is dermatologically tested and has a mild formula that is pH neutral so it is kind and gentle to the skin.

This shampoo is designed for frequent use and you just wash in and rinse out as normal (don't get it in your eyes as it stings, lol!).

The thing I noticed about this Dove product is it isn't very soapy, there weren't many suds but I put it down to being quite thin and runny liquid rather than a thick solution.

The back of the bottle write up says its definitely for dry rough hair with severe damaged like mine, and that : 'The Advanced repairing serum in the formulation contains millions of micro particles that help repair severe accumulated damage by penetrating into the fine lines and breaks no the hair surface'.

Dove also claim that it helps prevent split ends appearing but not so in my case.

I wasn't impressed with this variety from the brand; it was too runny and smelt awful plus it didn't do much for my hair unlike some of the other stuff I've tried of theirs.

Not good so I'm only giving it one star, they need to improve on this shampoo - quick!

Summary: I won't buy this again :(
