“ Brand: Dove / Tyep: Conditioner / Type: Conditioner / What it does: Repairs, „
Dove intense hair therapy conditioner is ideal for this time of year when it is extremely cold outside. Hair becomes easily damaged in the extreme cold. This is exacerbated by central heating and going from hot to cold so quickly and so often. Hair cannot cope and tends to dry out easily. A good conditioner is therefore vital. You cannot get much better than Dove Intense Hair Therapy. It gives your hair added protection by providing a protective coating. It really sorted out the split ends that I already had and I am hoping it is protecting it from future split ends. However, there is a certain inevitability about long hair getting split ends so do not expect this to be a miracle cure. At the end of the day it coats the hair and masks the problems that it might have.
Having said that, my hair looked so sleek and well-nourished when I used it. I will definitely continue to use this conditioner. It also left my hair smelling really fresh and slightly floral. The scent lasted well once my hair was dry.
It felt so thick when I put it on. You do not need that much, even with very long hair, because it is so intense. It costs about £2.50 for 200ml so not one of the cheaper brands but you do not need to put so much on so I think it balances out.
DOVE THERAPY. SHAMPOO. and CONDITIONER.
Made by DOVE. both the shampoo and conditioner are with repairing serums.
I recently received a bottle of this shampoo, for a small stocking filler from my son for christmas, so dont know the price.
It comes in a blue bottle, with NEW FORMULA written on it, plus a picture of a dove, symbol for their products.
It states it is intense care therapy, shampoo with repairing serum.
The one i received is for dry and damaged hair. Having straightened my hair for a period of time with hair straighteners i thought this would be a good product for repairing my hair.
It comes in a 250ml bottle, it says that it helps to repair the damaged hair surface, and repairs split ends.
It is dermatologically tested.
So i gave it a try, it is a thick shampoo, and smells lovely.
So i applied some and washed my hair. I could smell it on my hair. I left it on for a few minutes to give maximum effect.
After rinsing throughly. I then applied their CONDITIONER with also repairing serum.
This also came in the same blue bottle with the same symbol on it.
The conditioner states that it repairs the hair split ends and as i do have some from all the heat blow drying and the endless use of my heating straighteners, i applied this to my hair.
This was a nice thick liquid, and also smells lovely, I left it on for a few minutes also to give it a chance to work, and i must admit as soon as i applied it i did feel a difference to my hair.
After rinsing this out i brushed my hair through as usual. As i have quite long hair i do blow dry my hair or it takes too long to dry, and i must admit it made my hair feel lovely and i could still smell the products on it.
My hair is very dry, but after applying these products i must say i was most impressed with the condition my hair, not only looked better, but it dried lovely and shinny. Usually i have to wash my hair every other day because it gets dull and feels very dry. But after three days my hair still looked good and felt great.
I would recommend these products. The shampoo made my hair feel really clean, the conditioner made my hair feel very shinny and soft.
Unfortunately my hair tends to be on the very dry, brittle side and often is very dull. It can be prone to frizzy too. I am always on the lookout for a good but inexpensive conditioner to help rectify the problems.
I happened to come across Dove's Intensive care Therapy conditioner with repairing serum for dry and damaged hair. It was on offer in Sainsbury's and cost just £1 for 200 mls.
The bottle is an attractive blue colour. The blurb on the bottle indicates that it has been designed for dry rough hair that has accumulated damage. That sounds just like my hair!
It also stated that the conditioner's formula with the repairing serum instantly nourishes dry hair, helps to repair the damaged surface and helps to prevent split ends from appearing without weighing it down.
The conditioner has been dermatologically tested and has a mild formula that is ph balanced for frequent use.
I decided to put the conditioner to the test. The conditioner itself is white in colour and very thick. After washing my hair I applied the conditioner. It did feel very good and a small amount soon covered my hair. I left it on for a few minutes and then rinsed my hair. It had a pleasant delicate fragrance.
After rinsing my hair it did feel much softer and it did really feel like my hair had been 'nourished'. I usually leave my hair to dry naturally. When my hair had dried I could tell the difference - my hair was much softer than usual and had more 'shine' than normal. I was very pleased with the results.
I feel that for the price that Dove's Intensive Care Therapy conditioner is an inexpensive yet effective conditioner and I would certainly recommend it for anyone who suffers from dry, brittle hair like me.
