Recently I wrote a review out on what happened when I bought my own shampoo (its now stored on my laptop as Dooyoo still haven't added it!) Anyhow I'm back now to using whatever ends up in my bathroom, kind courtesy of my Mother. I've written before how my Mother buys whatever is on offer of the decent brands in the supermarket and we have ended up with some rather 'unusual' choices to say the least! So when this one turned up I'd seen the advert and thought why the heck did she think this is ok for me I'm only 33?! The women in the adverts are 50 plus! As I get older, I have become more and more cynical about the marketing that surrounds shampoos and conditioners - I find the best way to keep my hair in good condition is to use any old shampoo and a well-known brand of conditioner, which more often than not, I purchase from Poundland. This one fell into my hands because I'm currently staying with my mother and she brought it to try. Dove's recent advertising campaign for Pro Age products is very attractive - I love the idea that their campaign is targetting older women - but is there really any difference between this range and haircare products aimed at younger women?
