Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None for me, I think it's da bomb!
When it comes to the brand of Dove I love the stuff and am a huge fan of the range! Usually on offer I find the range usually superb and that there is something in the range for everyone!
This one arrived in our bathroom last week kind courtesy of my mother who does our shopping and mighty pleased I was too!
The Packaging....
250ml white plastic bottle with a flip top lid to the top of it concealing a small hole. On the front in blue and silver writing I'm told it is Dove Therapy Balance Therapy Shampoo With Protecting Serum and that it's for normal hair and there is a small silver dove emblem on there to. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed as are contact details for Unilver (the manufacturer of the product) and finally the size is stated as is the recycle symbol and finally there is a bar-code on there. Nice enough and plain but informative packaging this is.

Me Using It....
Well I use this in the usual way! Wet my hair, lather with this and repeat and finally rinsing my hair thoroughly.
The liquid itself is thickish white and glossy and a small amount goes a very long way indeed quickly giving off a slightly fruity and creamy fragrance and lathering up really quickly. As you rub this through your hair you can feel the gentleness this gives and that it really is smoothing the hair whilst cleansing it.
As I have said I do this process twice and what is nice about this shampoo is that if you don't want to use a separate conditioner for any reason you don't have to (though personally I always opt to).
It rinses out of the hair with ease and before using conditioner my hair feels really deep down clean, conditioned (due to the serum in this) and any knots or tangles have gone thus leaving my hair feeling like silk!
Once I have used the conditioner that matches this product my hair is left amazingly fragranced (a scent that lasts all day long and gets comments lol) and it is left smoother and shinier than before I used it!
Verdict....
I seriously didn't think I'd love this as much as I do, it being for normal hair and not more specialised for my hair needs I did wonder if it would be any good but it really is! First off it cleans hair brilliantly. Never before as that been so important to me as recently due to me going to the gym and burning up a sweat daily that really leaves my hair feeling greasy and grimy. Not just that but other people use the equipment I do and have their sweaty heads on head supports and stuff meaning my hair saps up their debris as well as my own! I have to wash my hair every day now and this is really mild and gentle to perform that job with ease and not leaving build up in my hair or making it limp and/of lank or giving me any issues at all.
The smell again is also very important to me! I'm working out in a gym full of fit men and no I don't wanna stink thank-you very much! Also it isn't such a heavy formula (even though it contains serum) that it makes my hair limp meaning I can control my hair without it being fly-away or anything and yes hair is left in a great silky condition!
So my verdict is this is a great day to day shampoo fine on it's own or with conditioner, I think it's truly marvelous!
Available in most good supermarket's etc priced at about £2.29 a bottle but do look out for offers!
Summary: Brill!
