      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Not for me this one and I hate the fragrance!

Just recently I have been running down all my bath, beauty and hair products. I owned so many of them and with limited space in my newish bathroom I didn't want half empty pots and bottles cluttering up my space. When I recently ran out of hear protection spray I had only one important thing in mind. It had to be in a pink (any shade) or at the very least a girly looking bottle or whatever as I have gone fuchsia pink in my bathroom and want things all matching lol!

This I spotted in my local Boots store on offer at £2.00 a bottle opposed to usually £3.99 and I was made even happier by having loads of points on my Boots advantage card as well at the time which actually made the item free to me!

      The Packaging:

The bottle is bright pink with a matching lid that pull on/off with total ease covering underneath a pump action sprayer. On the front of it and in white, pink and purple lettering we are told that it is Fish Hairdressing Co. 'Stylefish' Volumising Blow Dry Spray and that within the bottle there is 150ml of the product. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and directions for use are given, the ingredients are listed and contact details for the manufacturer are given. its a really nice, sturdy, informative bottle this one as well as being really girly on the eyes too and just what I was looking for to live in my bathroom lol.

A Bit About The Product According To The information Listed On The Bottle:

If you love big, sexy styles you'll fall hook, line and sinker for Style Fish Volumising Blow Dry Spray. The heat protection formula helps to shield hair from damage caused by straighteners and hairdryers whilst injecting masses of weightless volume. Also featuring nourishing and strengthening proteins to add shine, whilst supporting your style with a medium hold - now thats multi tasking!

      Using It:

Well this of course is a heat protection spray so suitable for use with any heated hair appliances including curling tongs and hair straighteners as well as the hairdryer.

All you do is apply this onto towel dried/damp hair evenly all over and comb it through. The stuff that is sprayed out is clear and a bit like water though if you rub your fingers together with this product in it you can feel a light greasy feel.

Then all you do is style your hair. Use a big, rounded barrel brush to create volume, scrunch your hair with your fingers or a diffuser, basically use it how you want and how you want to, after using a hairdryer use straighteners or curling tongs you can do so and hair will still be protected by the spray.

This however I am not keen on to be honest. The scent of this is really strong and really sweet and smells to me rather fakely of coconuts and I simply find it too harsh in fragrance and that fragrance lingers on the hair for hours, which for some people I'm sure would be a plus point but for me I wish the fragrance would fade!

Also I find this is an oily product and whilst it does seem to protect my hair and make it shiny it actually drains the life out of my hair. When first styled my hair looks really smooth and defined however because of the oils it makes my hair, after a couple of hours go limp looking and thin and like it needs a good wash. I am prone to greasy roots anyway and after a couple of hours of using this my hair looks minging and in need of a good wash and feels awful!

All in all this for me takes any life out of my hair that it has away. Its too greasy and would probably be a great product for people with really dry/coarse hair but mine isn't and mine is prone to being greasy as it is. I don't like this product at all, it just isn't one bit suitable for me. I'm just glad I got it free!

      Available in Boots.
