Advantages: erm.. none! oh if you want hair like an oil stick!

Disadvantages: makes hair olily, makes blonde hair dull, stinks bad =(

i must admit i have not got straight hair that needs volume but on a saturday i work in a salon down my local high street, where i train cutting, colour and all of the tricks of the hair trade as you could call it!

so anyways about this shampoo well i would'nt use it if my hair had'nt been washed for 6 years (yuk) because (heres the main point coming up here sorry about all the bla bla) its a grease repellant! im sure!

it is contained in a tall 250ml bottle which is very plain. i has a short neck and it doesn't look anything special. thats because its not. They say it is best to use a 10 pence peice amount of shampoo, added to a wet palm and massaged into the scalp, well using this FRED ENGERY it sticks to your plam like honey and as soon as you rub your hands together to apply to the hair it sticks like glue, gloopy, lumpy thick and at the same time oily!

so here is the story, picture this...........

Its a saturday mid morning and i'v been rushed off my feet, this is mainly making tea and sweeping up frizzy bits of hair. there is my boss karan, (the COW) who has bright platuinm blonde bob and looks light somthing out of the 60's! and jodie who hardly says anything apart from 'JESS you missed a bit!' 'oh... make us a cuppa luv'. so anyway a Woman comes in and her hair is amazing! its long and curly, with no frizz and full of bounce and i soooo wanted to get my hands on her locks! see i have a thing about curls, my hair is naturally curly well i mean FRIZZY! and i have invested in some GHD hair straightners (thats another story, or shall i say REVEIW) but it turned out she was just inquireing in a salon down the road a bit (trust me this made my boss v. v. narked!) (hehe)

then a woman comes in, looking very hot and flustered she had shopping bags in one hand and a snotty nosed 3 year old in the other. she wanted a cut and blow dry and they told me to start the wash (i had worked the
re 3 months and thats all i have done apart from watching cuts) so she sat her little boy down with the shopping bags and he picked up a magazine and started ripping it up (hahaha the cows face went pale) and she screamed 'don't you know that is cosmo! its desighner!' lol
I sat the woman down and she did'nt shut up yappin but she was friendly and a better cahnce from the old ladys wanting a blue rinse and perm.

Jodie told me to use the new deleivery of FRED ENERGY shampoo and leave the conditioner because its far too 'advanced for me to do' so i wet the hair, which i forgot to say is medium lengh and very thin and a little frizzy, due to the over processed block high lights. so back to what i was saying about the honey i looked a bit funny as i thought it was a joke as it smelt of chemails so much it nearly sent every body high (well atleast it would have shut her little boys up as by this point was running about with scissors!) as i massged it to the scalp it did'nt lather a lot so i added more but nothing so i just washed it out.

i watched as Jodie done the rest, she added the FRED ENERGY CONDITONER and FULL VOLUME SPARY it looked terrible. very flat, oily, and it made her blonde high lights look orange! she smiled ackwardy and paid, (£16.50) and left. i felt so sorry for her and jodie of course as she would said 'thats the worst kind of hair to work on, very oily can't do anything with it (yeah right) i would like to see her use it.
