Maybe I am a bit hair obsessed, but I want my hair to be sleek, straight and sexy. Unfortunately my mane is more on the dry curly side. This makes straightening a nightmare as it tends to go bushy and stands out like a mushroom! My hair is also pretty thick so expensive low performance products are not wanted. I'm also not keen on sticky serums, waxes, gels and the like. They are hard to wash out and don't make your hair feel very nice! I hate spending too much time on my hair so this product is fantastic as it is really simple to use. You apply it straight onto damp towel dried hair. And then blow dry it straight. The results are great, soft ... Read the complete review

Want gorgeous sleek hair but have the misfortune of being born with hair that sticks out at the botton thus making you look like a christmas tree? I have exactly this problem. My hair is in OK condition but does need a little help to get it nice and sleek at the bottom as it is thick and stubborn. I also hate to spend too much time on it in the morning (I find there is enough to do before work just getting my face in a decent state before I ever begin to think about my hair!!) This product is the answer to every girl's prayers. Although I can imagine it doesn't work on extremely frizzy out-of-control hair, it certainly works on longer, colour-treated hair with damaged ends that tend to kink the hair giving a loose curly effect when it is least wanted. The serum is quick and easy to spray on, speeds drying time to less than half, and totally smooths the hair to appear thicker, and become straighter just by blow-drying as usual. The effects last all day long, even through the latest of evenings. It even controls the wispiest of fringes and most impressively, works against those dreaded cowlicks that many of us have. It is ... Read the complete review

With thick permed hair which is often blow-dried straight I cannot recommend Frizz-Ease serum enough. Whether used while drying or applied when hair is dry this product gives amazing results. Having been impressed by John Frieda serum, I decided to try the '5 minute manager' which claims to reduce drying time by half while still taming frizz and adding shine. This product does not live up to the expected standards of other products in the John Frieda range and I was very disappointed. Drying time was not reduced at all and the product did not appear to tame frizz either. In my opinion I would give this product a miss!!! ... Read the complete review
