Advantages: Leaves your curls soft and bouncy

Disadvantages: None

As a girl with naturally curly hair, I really struggle to find the right kind of product to use on my hair to achieve a nice, soft curl rather than a crunchy rock hard curl!

Although I have seen the adverts for this product that claims that this banishes frizz and leaves your hair nice and curly, I have never bothered to try Frizz ease hair serum before as I never wanted to pay full price for a large bottle of product that may not be suitable for my hair, as I have wasted enough money in the past doing this!

When shopping in Asda a month ago I noticed that they had a special trial bottle of Frizz ease on sale, it cost 99p for a small bottle so I decided to give it a go.

It comes in a metallic silver/pink box with the Frizz ease logo on the top of it. The actual product comes in a clear plastic bottle with a push down dispenser on the top of it, the liquid inside is also clear.

It states on the back that you should wash and condition your hair as normal and then apply frizz ease to wet hair. You must use it sparingly by dispensing a pea sized amount into the palm of your hands, rub together and distribute evenly throughout your hair. When you rub the product together in the palm of your hand it does feel quite heavy and greasy but once you apply this onto your wet hair it feels fine. It does say that you should use more or less depending on your hair length. I have shoulder length hair and have found that 4 squirts seems to be just the right amount, any more and your hair is left feeling greasy. You then style your hair as you would usually, I use a diffuser hairdryer to dry my hair.

Once I had dried my hair I did notice that it felt much softer than usual and that none of the curls had gone hard, they were all soft and bouncy. One thing I did find though is that I over dry my hair it does still go a bit frizzy, so I tend to dry it through but leave it slightly damp and let it finish drying naturally, that way I avoid a frizzy hair do!

Once I had finished my small trial sized bottle I then purchased a normal sized bottle from Asda, it contains 25ml and cost £3.50. Although it is a small bottle, as I only use a tiny amount each time it does go a long way.

Summary: It really does get rid of the frizz!
