Advantages: Well, it's good for some theatrical productions...
Disadvantages: I really don't deserve to repeat it all here again, if you could kindly read the review.
What is it?
********
A small tiny bottle of hair serum by John Frieda
Special Features?
**************
Claims to perform 'miracles' on dry, frizz prone hair. Infused with silk proteins, it helps to instantly smooth and tame split ends and to put life into dull, lifeless hair.
Is it any good?
************
Nevermind miracles, I just want my hair to be frizz-free and smooth. This advises on applying the serum on WET hair. The consistency of the serum is quite runny and contained in a very small pump bottle - 5ml, so you get the idea of how small it is, very fiddly, also. After managing to pump two servings (one pump produces very little, like one drop, plus I have long hair...), I smoothed it along the parts where I usually get the frizziness and dried my hair as usual.
Disappointed as I was, when my hair was completely dry, I tried to apply more onto my dry hair. After fiddling (again) for far too long, I managed to get a few drops of the 'magical' serum onto my hair...(huh)....of course, the results...were 'extremely' pleasing - I had just washed my hair and after applying some of this brilliant stuff, parts of my hair had now become miraculously greasy.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement, it really didn't help that I was trying this at a time when I was getting ready to go out - my fault for not trying it out before hand...
Cost?
****
This was actually one of the cheaper frizz hair serums on the shelf, and also the reason why I bought it. Everything else was around £4.00 for a small bottle and I just wasn't prepared to spend that much in case the product didn't work. The Frieda serum cost £1.99 for a small 5ml bottle. In my opinion, not very good value for money. For such a small amount, a tiny bottle that takes a bit (or perhaps, a lot) of fiddling, and then for me to find out that it doesn't work, (sigh)...oh well, maybe it was just my hair...
Thanks for reading. xx
