Advantages: tames frizzy hair, quite long lasting
Disadvantages: a bit pricey
I first started using this product about five years ago. I used the little sachets you can get 2 for 99p (I think you can still get them) as I was loathe to spend as much as £5.25 (1996 price) for something that might not work. It is an oily kind of product but it isn't heavy it doesn't make your hair feel greasy as long as you don't use too much at a time. I really needed something for my hair as I had been colouring and perming it for years and it was very coarse and frizzywith flaway bits everywhere, talk about the wild women of Borneo, they had nothing on me! You put it on wet hair, so squeeze a little blob out(about the size of a fifty pence piece) spread it between both hands and gently smooth it through your length of your hair from root to tip. You may need a little bit more if your hair is very long, but start off slowly, a little bit at a time is best. Then you can begin to dry and style as usual, though you will get much better results if you have a diffuser on your hair dryer, if not use a cooler, slower setting than you normally would. Yes its going to take a little bit more time but you want a good result for the money don't you? It will really tame your hair, retaining the shine and leave it feeling light and bouncy. You only need a small amount even on long hair so it is fairly long lasting and therefore I think justifies the price £5.75-£5.95 depending on where you shop. It also works on straight hair as well as curly(my hair is straight at the moment and I still use it) so you won't waste your money if you are growing out a perm perhaps. This is definitely a great product that you will use and never want to be without again!

- 27/07/01 I have immense problems with frizz. I've tried some of the products in this range but not the serum. Think I'll give it a go. :-) |

- 05/05/01 Good op although I don't need frizz ease. I'd love to find a product that would put a little frizz into my hair for more than 12 hours! It just won't keep a curl. |

- 24/04/01 I'm a bloke so I can't really relate to some of this (plus the fact that I razor shave my head), but I have always wondered what went into these kind of products. I bit more info like that and I'm there with a VU perhaps ;-)
