Advantages: Works if you use a lot

Disadvantages: Doesn't work well on proper curly hair, Can't use it to dry hair straight

I have naturally curly hair which will easily form ringlets if dried naturally. I tried Frizz Ease some time ago hoping the ringlets will become more defined. To get any result at all with proper curly hair you need to use a huge amount, not the recommended couple of squirts! What really annoys me is those before and after pictures on the packaging. The before picture is obviously not the natural state of the models hair! Please!

Has anyone else with naturally curly hair tried drying it straight with this stuff? It doesn't work! My hair ended up frizzy and triangular, actually quite a lot like the "before" picture on the packet, odd that.

I've tried some of the other products in the range but found them equally disappointing. For better curls, I find that using loads of conditioner helps, I brush it through then rinse it out. I then put about a 10p sized splodge of conditioner through my hair and leave it in. What brand of conditioner to use is fairly unimportant. I tend to buy whatever is cheap but usually fructis, herbal essences or organics. If you leave it to dry naturally, it looks far more like the "curly" picture on the frizz-ease packet then if you actually use the stuff. Otherwise I'm resigned to never having straight hair unless I get it chemically treated at a salon.
